Prints

Block Printing Disclaimer

All block printing works are printed by hand, often on hand cut and dyed paper. They are not machine reproductions; prints may vary slightly from one another or from what is pictured in the shop.

Caring for your print

Please avoid touching the printed area as the oils from your skin can affect the surface of the paper. Some natural dye might fade over time under the sun, so it’s best to keep the artwork away from direct sunlight.

Sold outs & Misprints

Linocut productions will usually be limited to between 50-150 prints. Once these sell out, it is safe to assume we won't print them again, although we may in rare instances do a second run with a color variation. Every print production will also generate some misprints, which we will occasionally sell for discounted rates.

Sweets

Our sweets site operates as a separate store for now, please check the FAQ on the sweet site.

Shipping

How is the print packed?

Each print is covered in acid free tissue paper to protect against moisture, and then wrapped in kraft paper before packed into a cardboard tube for transit. This is generally the best way for larger prints to be shipped.

International Shipping for Prints

We do ship prints internationally. Please keep track of your item once it is sent, as the package might require a signature on delivery. If an item is returned, it’s the buyers responsibility to organize redelivery at the buyers cost.

When a package is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination. Please note that these charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.

why can't prints and sweets ship together?

There are a few reasons why we cannot ship prints and sweets together: First, we currently cannot ship sweets internationally. Second, sweets often require ice packs to keep them cold while in transit, which could potentially damage anything made of paper. Third, sweets require expedited (and more costly) shipping services in order to ensure their safe delivery, while prints can be shipped using more cost efficient services. To avoid complications, we have opted to ship them separately until further notice.
